I'd be a little concerned about actually using something for wood like this because of the risk of warping. Might be smart to get two pairs if you're using for wood.

My thoughts as well! A workaround could be to use plywood or something for additional support underneath the wood to act as a shelf.
If you're storing longer pieces of wood you might want to get two and put them next to each other, or you could put a board down at the bottom. I built my shelf with wood and it cost just a little bit more.
Agree that for long stock, it would be better to have at least a couple of pairs. Putting them on a board could inadvertently create cupping/bowing by only exposing one face to the environment assuming you're laying them flat. If you need deeper storage, you could consider the delta racks instead which are slightly deeper and support more weight. These should do fine in most situations though. They're rated at 110 per pair or 55 per post. If you get two sets, you would double the shelf capacity to 220 for example if you need to store heavier items (evenly distributed of course). A laser level will make life easier for this installation since the positions on the bars are fixed on the Boras.

I don't think using it like this in the garage with high humidity was gonna work so I just did that and it's been going strong.
