I bought a different model that was on here a week or two ago. It doesn't have Gemini built in and I kind of wish it did. My car has wireless CarPlay already but I bought it for Netflix and YouTube. It works surprisingly well, it's just longer to boot than the stock system so I wound up disconnecting it until I want to stream videos.

Every written review is a "Vine Customer Review of Free Product." Seems to work by mimicking a iPhone to your existing CarPlay system, allowing the Magic Box to display whatever it wants on the CarPlay screen. But there are no reviews that are helpful and actually show what it does. One review has a 2:25 long video which has some guy hovering the camera over the product while basically reading marketing copy, no time showing the product working.

I don't understand what this does. Would this add CarPlay to an older vehicle (with touchscreen) that doesn't have it built in?
