I am so soooo incredibly happy they made this game. I remember not being able to find the last bloody map piece 20 years ago and not even gamefaqs could save my soul.

They made navigation easier, and the story a tad more streamlined rather than the 300 side quests. It's a bit of a hit to diehard fans but it doesn't remove from the fun. Enjoy!!!

This is the only DQ game I ever really wanted to play. Idk if I have a bazillion hours to spend on a jrpg at the moment. Anyone know if it's really grindy?

It's been made a lot easier from what I've been told. I suspect grinding is limited based on that.
