So I was out of the country and was in a large mall just walking around. I saw the Hoka store and went in to see if they were cheaper where I was in Asia. They converted to the same price as here. They had a machine to help you choose which shoes and to size you. You stand on it and it tells you your size and width. I as them if I could try them on. I took about 10 to 15 step and turned around and the sales guy says did you want me to put your old ones in the box? I said yes put the old ones in the box. The feeling is amazing 🤩. It is like you have little springs underneath you. I really felt like I had to learn to walk again. It was that much of a difference. It only took 5 minutes to get use to them but it was definitely a mind blowing experience. I said to the guy they really do not need you to sell them. He said nope only to get them from the back and let you try them on. They sell themselves. They got pretty dirty from walking so much in a 3rd world country. When I got home I hand washed them with a brush warm water and oxi clean and they came out looking new. Last year on the same trip I put a hole in a pair of Skechers from walking so much. I wore Skechers for almost 10 years. Now I am all in on Hoka. There were days before where I could bearly walk because of the pain in my left heal. That is all gone. So no discount however when you sign up for an account you get 10% off coupon good for 30 days and it stacks. including with the $15 off promotion that ends today or tomorrow. I would not buy these. I would buy the Bondi 9 or Clinton 10 from Hoka directly.

I've actually heard the opposite (in the hospital setting), but I recently went to try on multiple styles and none of them fit as well as sketchers for me. Lots of reviews online though.

This is actually a great description of my experience with my first pair of Hoka's as well. I personally have a pair of the Clifton 10's. Ordered them online without trying them on, and when they came in I couldn't stop smiling when I tried them on. Springs underneath you is right. Almost feels like they push you along as you walk or run. Just got back from a weekend trip away that involved probably 4x the normal amount of walking I might do in a day, and in my Hoka's it was a breeze. I was a firm believer in the On Cloud 5's I had previously, but the soles on them seem to wear out faster than they should, but after wearing my Hoka's, I'm not sure I can go back.

I have Gaviota 4 - 1 yr later and the fabric at the front has holes. Disappointed. I had my Nike Pegasus for 10yr no issues

Can't replicate. I'm at the last step just before the final confirmation to place the order and is not showing any automatic extra 20%.

I have to agree with you guys - I have some foot pain and have had a hard time getting anything to fit my huge size 15 feet. I took a chance on Bondi 8s on ebay that were EE width, and they are awesome! They do seem to spring your step forward, and I cut insoles out of a Harbor Freight antifatigue mat, put them in and made them even better!

I've used my Hoka Bondi 8s (wide) on three separate 3 week trips to Japan while walking about 8-14 miles per day. This is the only shoe I would trust when standing/walking/jogging for up to 12 hours per day. The cushioning on the Bondi's can't be beat. I also have a pair of Bondi 9's that I picked up in Japan at the Hoka store that I haven't really tried out yet. Yes, with the current dollar to yen exchange rate you can save about 20-25% off the regular price. YMMV.

I also purchased a pair of these Elevon 2 shoes and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised they fit my slightly wider feet. While a bit snugger than the Bondi 8 wides, I haven't experienced any issues. Cushioning on these shoes is less than on the Bondi 8's, but I purchased them for daily walking and jogging while state side. They definitely have more cushion than my Nike React Milers and my Asics Gel running shoes though.
