I get a "This product can't be shipped to your address" message at AliExpress. Is there a way around it? I assume because of recent tariffs.
Click the second link, in the description. Same issue I was getting, logged in or out in incognito until I clicked the link in description instead, instantly it removed " This product can't be shipped to your address"

Considering this for my daughter's 10th birthday, would the filament in this deal work for this, or is there a better deal for filament?

10-Pk 1kg GEEETECH 1.75mm ABS+ 3D Printer Filament - 2026-03-18

Also, does this printer do the jointed animals? She really likes those.

Thanks for any help someone can offer!
No don't get ABS! Get PLA or PETG. ABS gives off toxic fumes. For your general purpose, you don't need to use ABS for most things. And yes, any printer can print articulated animals. It prints in place and one of the easiest things to print.

This is a good deal but is it just as good as the bamboo p1s and does their website give a lot of sample items to print
It is sort of on par, but not quite as good, with a worse slicer and ecosystem, but for less than half the price.

There is more to tinkering with it, and I've had some issues with mine that I had a very difficult time figuring out, but when it works properly it will print every bit as well as a p1s.
I have p1s and this, and this actually does some things even better than p1S like tpu printing directly from the spools instead of having to do a bunch of weird stuff to make it work like on the P1S.
Overall this is a great entry point into 3d printing at a great price. Far from a perfect machine but worth every penny.
The P1S is slightly better, and for me was worth the purchase but I'd put over 1100 hours on my AD5X at that point.

I have this one. My son uses it all the time. I need some help with multicolor printing. So far my son is selecting colors manually and printing only with one color at a time. Anyone know any website from where I can get some free and cool multicolor stuff which this printer can handle ?

besides the ams what else is different between the AD5X and the A5M? Both models seem to have the same max speed, bed size, and coreXY.
Is the AD5X worth $100 more than the A5M?

and for those who have either model, how's the noise level? I read that the high print speed comes with the trade off of being louder compared to similar "entry" printers like the A1 (Bambu).

Switching colors wastes so much filament that I never do multicolor prints with it. They're about to release a 4 headed machine though and I may have to grab one

is there a demo of it yet? i feel like right now is the worst time to be buying any printer around the 300-1000 range. competition has made this market way better for consumers. I'm still on the ender 3 v2 lol. What printer are you currently using on most days? I'm waiting to see what these companies release in the next month or so.

OMG!?!?! I had no idea they sold 17kg filament rolls. I'm sure you can print some spool holder to use it one at a time on your A1. Woah that's like 37lbs.

I currently have a Bambu p1s. I have had it for 2 months and it has had to have 2 warranty claims. Their process is a nightmare! Each time I had an issue they want troubleshoot it. I actually prefer troubleshooting over a warranty claim however each step of the troubleshooting process takes 1 to 2 business days for a response on EACH step. So it can take weeks before they admit its a warranty issue. Now that my printer is down again I rather get a cheap DIY printer and fix it myself. This printer is smaller but its cheaper than the $300 ams I was going to buy as an add on for my P1S. Hopefully Ill have better luck here.
Yeah, I've had the same issue with one of my Anycubic printers but with AC it takes longer to get the replacement part because they ship overseas. Bambu sent me a new motor for my under warranty ps1 ams but fortunately I could still use the 3 other slots. I have several 3D printers because there is always one that needs some work and then I can keep printing.
