Yeah, a lot of those fire hazard electrical spark reviews are recent too. Hard pass—not trying to fry my stuff or worse.

I had a discount and bought one of these, with the int'l plugs. Just a test. It weighs nothing, the plastic is the cheapest possible, and even low wattage items made it spark. And my microwave cord and plug got extremely hot. For safety, I cannot in good conscience recommended it.
