This is one of the few 6K displays, which makes it very high PPI at 32" (218ppi); this is especially desirable for Mac users since it enables 2x Retina scaling, which macOS is optimized for.

Competing 32" 6K displays from LG and Dell are ~$1,800+; this is very compelling at this price.

Yeah, I really wish they kept the same size as the previous Pro Display XDR, would have been a no brainer at that price.

Actually the studio xdr is a huge improvement
And cheaper- check out the specs.
