I think this exact model was the highest rated "work monitor" from rtings. I'm not sure what's going on, as I believe the sale price of $1,000 a day or two ago was an all time low, but now it's even lower. Seems like a good deal, but I'm tempted to wait this one out for another month to see what happens.

Well the 60hz is fine I guess but new generation of monitors can do variable Hz plus with mini led with rgb stripe is better than ips- especially at this price- wait for a refresh.

Just ordered this and put it on my desk before I left. The text is very sharp. Cannot wait to use it tomorrow. According a detailed review, it is true 10 bit color. 60 hz is all I need for office productivity work.

When it comes to screens most people either notice the screen lag, clarity/PPI/resolution, or the screen color. Pick two. There isn't a screen that does all three yet in the consumer space.

This screen is one of the few in the "Apple Studio Display" class of screens with +200 PPI for very sharp, phone-like resolution screens. The difference between this an the 4k 32" monitors is night-and-day depending on your vision and how much text you look at. This is over 2x the number of pixels from a 4k display.

That's pretty good actually. Nice mix of leisure and productivity. Shame it's only 350cd which won't work well in a bright environment, but if you aren't near windows it should be fine. Good alternative to a $1300 Apple Studio Display if you don't need to extra brightness or color accuracy.

To each their own. I can't stand OLED I bought a new Samsung OLED Monitor and it just sits I put my old 2015 whatever it is monitor back because something about OLED just burns my eyes. I used the 6k Apple monitor at work for awhile and it was awesome, but can't justify the price for something like that. This could work.
