It seems like it would be a major pain to clean these. Same with grills. I want one for our patio, but concerned about the cleaning process.
I don't know if it's the best method, but it's the way I've always done it. Once you unplug it, it's safe to get wet, so I just stand it up in the sink and hose it off with soap and water.
Dang the other one on deal is being delivered today. This one is 2" bigger and has a warming tray. Doubt I'd use the tray but that plus 2" seems worth an extra $5

Ordered and will be delivered today. The nonstick on my old one finally worn off and everything I cooked was sticking to it. Was just going to use cooking oil but saw this deal.
