Throwback prices right here. Remember the good ol' days when buying fast food was always an option on days you just couldn't be bothered with anything else but a quick drive through order? No apps, no "deals", just a quick, easy and cheap option that was always available. The only time I'll consider fast food now is when there's a deal like this. Oh, how times have changed.

Breakfast menu at McDonald's was surprisingly good the last time we got stuck eating there due to no other easy nearby options. Thanks for taking the time and effort to see which states have the offer available before posting the deal. Hard to beat this deal for $5 breakfast that would actually fill you up.

Likewise on fast food deals. I used to get 2 of these for 6 bucks ~20 years ago. Now 1 for $5 is considered a "deal" for this junk.
$18 for 3 Subway footlongs for the family, and the $10 any toppings pizzas are about all we do now when they pop up.

You would be shocked how many grocery delis are copying fast food restaurants in terms of trying to get people in to buy. You should check some of those

Perfect breakfast for my wife & I. She loves pancakes & I love everything else on the plate. $5 would feed both of us.

I go to McDonalds maybe once a year, to get my quarter pounder fix. The rest of the time i get fresh burger from my local butcher and the difference is amazing. It's laughable how many overweight people were on both sides of the counter when i visited. The food is not good for you people. Stepping of the soap box now.

Amazing how nothing has changed in 20 years, like wages, food prices, electricity, insurance, rent and taxes! So if you can open a business and pay employees and rent and food costs and make a $5 breakfast like this every day and still make a profit to pay your expenses, maybe let McD's know your secret.

It doesn't even taste like a real breakfast. I can't do McDonald's anymore. For about $13, I can get pancake/biscuit mix (Cracker Barrel's is great), maple syrup, a dozen eggs, and a roll of sausage and have multiple feasts.

Eh, my whole point was calling out the supposed BS "value" behind these deals. If you'd ever take a minute off from posting on here and understand their economies of scale and resulting profit margin trend over the last 20 years, you'd have a clue.

I responded to what you wrote. If you meant something else, then be more clear so we all could "have a clue". Where I live, $5 for a big breakfast is a real deal but definitely no amount of scale could make it profitable.
