A lot of the new inexpensive Chinese tools have handles that are some cheap vinyl insulation coating. A lot of these coatings degrade quickly and leave a very sticky/tacky feeling that gets on everything. I had to peel/cut off a bunch of handles and use Plasti dip. These are very specific tools that would be helpful for people who work on cramped automotive areas. But with my infrequent use, I would question the cheap metallurgy/machining/components knowing I'm potentially going to have to fix my own tools in a year or two...

Those are considered disposable at this price. I don't mind keeping one just in case.

You can replace them with replacement handle grips.
