I bought a pair of their mid waterproof hikers on sale for about this price last year. I am hard on hikers. I go through about 2-3 pair a year, and that is if they are decent. Junk ones get worn and go right to the garbage. I'm not special, I just don't like to have wet feet when I am working outdoors. Nothing says give me blisters like wet socks sliding inside a hiker all day. Plus wet feet just suck, then the boots have to be dried. They remained waterproof for 6 months. Couldn't believe it. They have been in mud over the top of the cuff. They have been doused in chemicals, hit by spray paint, oil, gas, and they still work. I've worn high tec altitude IV leather for years and they last maybe as long as these, for twice the price. Now I am on the find the cheaper hikers and see what works, then buy in bulk.
Ok, so the mids were tight at the top and a little snug on the bottom. After a break in period, they felt fine.

I have their 9" tactical men's boot and think they're great. Got 'em on an Amazon sale. Incredible price, like sure I'll give them a try for the price price. I replaced a pair of Merrills that I'd basically worn out but for $178 I wasn't in any rush to buy again (happy with those Merrills too, just a steep price). I've had these NORTIVs for about 15 months now and have been damn pleased for the fit, comfort, wear resistance, tread life and value. Only reason I can't do these is they aren't tall enough (bad ankles)

Not really understanding this...Its not a brand because the stores you like don't carry it?
This brand seems up and coming with inexpensive options that someone with a need for less doesn't have to spend twice the amount for a over inflated rival brand at the stores you listed.
I have a pair of the tactical boots & their barefoot shoes and I can't see myself getting ripped off by another brand for more money.

They look pretty good. I'd get them if they were slip-on boots.

Looked good, but size doesn't show up in the cart or order page. Weird, not ordering. All I know they could be boots for a 2 year old.

I have a pair of boots that I bought few years ago and they have held up good. Only problem I had was the size, I bought a 9 and it was more like a 8. I would order one size up next time.

I bought a pair last year of the Hoka versions they make during Black Friday for about $45. Not Hoka replacements, and I felt a little ripped off at close to $50 with tax. I did just buy a second pair of the slip on shoes for camping with the current $27 deal, that is there true worth. At $30, I might try these myself, don't like taking my more expensive shoes camping, and this brand is comfortable, just not like walking on pillows like Hoka Bondi, which I use for long days on my feet. It is Amazon anyway, easy enough to return if they suck.
How is the fit? I wear size 11.5 but it only comes in 12 or 11

Not sure I'd even call it a brand. It's not available at REI, not available at Sierra, Big 5, Dick's etc. It's no name on Amazon. Probably at best walmart shoe quality.
I agree with you, it has only 138 reviews on amazon, and I always figure 50% of amazon reviews are paid/fake reviews.

I think the people voting your post down are paid too.

these might be good shoes, but I'm not willing to find out, you can find quality sale shoes and boots at REI for about $50 if you watch the sales

GU9X99S8 still seems to work. If you're using the Amazon app you might be missing the step of tapping on the arrow that appears in the promo code box to apply the code.

I have a pair of WP hikers that got wet inside on a 10 day hike. Any suggestions on how to get rid of swamp foot / mildew funk?

Got mine in, very comfy. I wear a 15 in Nike/Under Armour (sneaker sizing) and per their size chart I ordered the 14. Fits almost perfect to what their size chart shows; Plenty wide for me also. I say if you need/want a pair of boots, this is a tough price not to bite at. Mine are going to be used for outside lawn and property work because my steel toes are a bit too stiff, these should suit the job despite being maybe a bit warmer than I would like.

If you use your boot toe to boot heel when you take off your boots, that Grey part (heel side will come apart). I have Desert version of this and within 3 months. I had to glue it back together. Price point, I would still recommend this though.

Thanks for your comment. This is basically what I was wondering. If they're actually waterproof. And I guess if they have been for 6 months for you, this is worth a buy... in for one!
