You do not need this one if you are jumping 4 and 6 cylinder gas engines. A smaller one will work just fine. This is a great deal on a this one though although the physical size is on the large side.

I grabbed a couple of the Auxito 2000A when they were $17.00 a few months ago. Kinda surprised how well it works. Just jumped a completely dead 2010 4.0 Explorer at 30 degrees. Might not work on a dead cold V8 but I don't have any of thoseSmilie

Most SDers are farmers and own heavy duty trucks or tractors. A lower rated jumper wont work on our farm equipment.

as someone who lives on a farm, i find this statement very surprising, if true.

i will say that i do use my jumpers for tractors and skidsteers and lawnmowers and all sizes and shapes of cars/trucks. so i did indeed jump on this deal.

i have several Hulkman Alpha 8.5 units as well and I've never had one fail to jump anything that I've thrown at it, and its rated 2000mAh. Just not sure how accurate some of those ratings are on these things...
