I find it interesting how this post got such little attention and what attention it did get was nearly all negative for what is essentially a Tuttio Soleil clone which typically range from $900, to $1,200 and are rarely dip too much below $800. I ended up paying $325.90 after utilizing a cashback offer in combination to the sale coupon, and I'll most like spend another $200 for a 17" front and 14" rear wheel upgrade, and a few other small upgrades like a headlight since that appears to be missing, and a fardriver bluetooth dongle to fine tune the specs. All I can say is good luck finding a better e-dirtbike deal on a $600 budget.

You ever get yours? .....I ordered one today for $560 shipped. Looks like the controller(votol em-85) is programable but I've yet to find someone who has posted 'good' settings.

Also care to share links to any accessories you've bought for it?

edit - received a FedEx tracking number this morning. bike is shipping from CA and is showing that it should be delivered by Wed of next week

Hey there, I did end up getting get mine! And since you asked, here's pretty much every potentially useful bit of information I can provide at this time, which is surprisingly a lot. For starters, I would say the biggest issue that appears to affect almost everyone to at least some degree, is the packaging and potential for broken or missing parts. For instance, my box was torn completely open across the entire top of the box, and subsequently the bike was missing the handlebar crossbar, the front number panel, the screw on cap to secure the seat, and I received about 8 screws that were simply too thin in diameter to secure both the front and back fender. I had already set my expectations, and considering these were all minor parts I was likely to replace/upgrade at some point anyway, I felt like I made out better than some of the other customers I saw who ended up with significant scratches or dents, broken throttles, or even ignition switches that had cracked. The good news is, that at least in my instance, AliExpress was very generous when I contacted them for the replacement parts. They weren't able to send me replacements but they gave me an $82 refund, which took my total cost down to around $250. The only other thing that kind of irritated me, was the fact that the bike doesn't come with any lights whatsoever, no headlight, tail light or turn signals. Again, at this price point, I shouldn't really expect anything more than what I received, which is in fact a pretty fast bike (up to 37mph depending on your weight. I'm getting around 33mph personally but I'm not exactly small either) with plenty of torque and a tuneable controller with the VOTOL EM-85. If you want to tune your controller and get your top speed up to around 50mph (I think), you'll want to buy the VOTOL USB adapter (mine was $4 on AliExpress) and I later learned you'll also want to buy a complete wiring harness (I spent $18 on Amazon, but I was also prioritizing faster shipping times at this point), as the stock wiring is missing the majority of the wires you'll need for any accessories. Additionally, while I have yet to do so, I'm planning to put a 17" wheel on the front and a 14" wheel on the back, and I'll likely add a handlebar riser so I don't feel so much like a circus clown when riding around. I've also purchased myself a waterproof 12-way fuse box along with a DC-DC step down converter 48v-72v to 12v for up to 360W or 30A for powering all my lights and any other external electronics I'd like to add. This is almost certainly considerably more than I'm ultimately going to need, but I'm still planning/designing my electrical system, and I figured it makes the most sense to future-proof the dang thing in case I ever decide to upgrade the battery to 60v or 72v. For most people wireless lighting is probably a significantly more ideal solution than what I'm doing, but what can I say, I prefer having the freedom to do whatever it is I feel like, whether that be today, or a year from now. If you want to upgrade your display, as far as I know, any VOTOL or Fardriver compatible display should work, although the selection is pretty meh IMHO, considering SIAECOSYS is the only manufacturer of compatible displays (I think). Same company also makes a few different custom throttles with a variety of built in switches and buttons that appear to support the majority of features found on the controller. Also, their controller tuning software is just overall very confusing and not user friendly whatsoever, but I have a couple web-based apps I've already published online as well as an Android app (made by other users, just found by me) that should effectively eliminate the need to use the official software (just waiting on my wiring harness to show up so I can test the connection and communication). So, there you have it, my unnecessarily over-detailed product review. If you find yourself with more questions or want some links to the applications and/or any products I've already purchased or am considering purchasing, just say the word and I'll send you another 2500 words (kidding...)!

Fingers crossed mine shows up undamaged!! $250 is an insane price.... if it's more or less as good as a tuttio, I'm thrilled with my price of $560

Anyone who ordered and got one, what do you think about it? I doubt that price would ever be that low again sadly

I've been very happy with mine all things considered. In terms of hardware (2000W mid-drive motor, 21AH battery, hydraulic brakes, tunable controller, and a top speed of 37mph with supposedly 200 nm of torque out of the box), you'd be hard pressed to find something similar for less. With that being said, I doubt most people would be very happy with it as-is out of the box and by that I mean, you may need to put a little money into it in order to get exactly what you want out of it. But it's a great starter bike to build on due to its solid internals and relatively low cost. The controller alone give's you tons of potential for fine tuning various components and integrating new components altogether.

My biggest complaints so far would probably be the following:
1) Size: a 14" wheel up front and 12" in the rear simply isn't going to cut it for me, so I need to upgrade to 17"/14" at least.
2) Audible Volume: the bike sounds unnecessarily loud to me with the pitch and volume increasing with acceleration. I'm not sure how or even if this can be effectively minimized at this point, but I remain hopeful there may be a setting or combination of settings on the controller that will have at least some sort of effect here.
3) No stock lighting or handlebar crossbar: The bike seems to be missing some of the most basic components you typically expect to come with any bike, especially a bike with above entry level components, but it's likely cutting these costs were necessary in order to hit their MSRP goal after adding the higher-grade components. Just be aware, you will need to purchase a headlight at minimum, but you may want a tail-light and some turn signals as well.
4) Poor controller documentation: despite the controller being relatively high end and allowing for a USB to computer connection to access a user interface where you can fine tune a wide range of settings on the bike, the documentation for VOTOL controllers in general is lacking to say the least. The specific controller in this bike essentially doesn't even exist according to the manufacturer (the specific model is not listed anywhere on their website and there is not really any model specific documentation I've been able to find for it either). This, by itself isn't really a huge deal because there are a number of other controllers that are almost identical and the documentation across those models should be mostly interchangeable. More importantly, the user interface is far from user friendly and from what I've been able to gather you'd be better off using one of the various customer-developed solutions that have been published publicly in forums and on github.

As for the price, I would definitely put a tracker on it because I've seen the price dip below $500 at least twice since I purchased mine. There are currently 2 different listings for the bike on AliExpress and you should track both, as prices change sometimes multiple times per day. You can always combine the current AliExpress sitewide promotion discount which will typically range between $40 - $90 on higher priced items, with whatever R-ak ut-en is offering for Cashback which has recently been as high as 14%. For example, right now, one of the listings is at $620, AliExpress has a $40 coupon, and RKTN is offering 6% cashback, making your total cost $545.

Mine came Sunday which was 3 days faster than expected and total shipping time of 4 days from order. Box came in great shape and nothing missing.... all documentation (which isn't much) was in Spanish. I have a VERY VERY VERY happy 9yo. This is a tuttio clone. Amazing deal

track prices for both listings on AliExpress, as they are updated frequently, sometimes multiple times a day. Use whatever sitewide promotion is featured on the AliExpress homepage, a good promotion might get you an extra $40-$60 off. Check Rakutens current cashback percentage which has been reaching 14% on occasion recently. Check Cashback Monitor to compare offers across most cashback sites. If you make the purchase on AliExpress and it arrives with minor damages or missing parts (which has been relatively common with this bike), file a refund claim through AliExpress support and provide a detailed account along with photographic evidence of each missing and/or damaged component. In most cases they will offer you a partial refund that exceeds the cost of purchasing replacement components, which in turn becomes another discount on your total cost.

Wow that's a lot of good advice, appreciated!
