Because of this deal, I cancel the preorder from the Best Buy. The White S26U 512GB is arriving Monday so today went to the store to pick up the case (Samsung accessory with pre-order, $30 off and paid only $5) and asking about trade-in S23U sky blue instead of cream. The woman standing at door greeting customers said that can't trade-in different color. I should of ask a salesperson at phone dept., but they were all busy. So, I cancel the order and bought it from the Amazon instead. I know it's only 256GB but trade-in Samsung A16 for $30 plus $300 is okay for me and keeping the S23U for future trade-in or use it as a hotspot phone. Hotspot works way better than Pixel 10.
EDIT: The trade-in of A16 is ejected, so today as of 4/4/26 returned sealed in box S26U.

so confused. so the $300 rebate is valid for only 512gb? and I will not receive it if I chose to have my phone back if it fails inspection??

I'm not sure if its been mentioned here but the trade in amount that you get back for the phone is also given back as an amazon gift card, its not money that you can have put back onto your card.

The additional $300 is based on a trade-in ... you'll get value of your trade-in phone plus $300. This rebate does not apply until the trade is sent in.

I know that.

I purchased the 256 version with trade-in and didn't see the extra $300 during checkout. Once I completed the transaction, the trade-in email didn't include it either. I went to "visit your trade-in account" and it didn't populate there either.
