It's just a promo trade in value and a bigger gift card than Best buy (which is nice). If you don't have a pixel 8 pro, it's not $517 or whatever.

The $300 rebate showed for me when I did estimated trade in amt. I wasn't offered 9% back for slow shipping.

If you do the trade in steps, you will see the message "Your estimated savings is $355.00
$55.00 estimated trade-in value +
$300.00 Amazon limited-time rebate for purchasing a qualifying phone" on the final page. I used a S21 to do the estimate. Limited time deal for the rebate.
Scroll down on the page and the below message displays - "4. Get your rebate
After we receive your trade-in device, we'll verify it within 10 business days. Once verified, you'll receive your Amazon limited-time rebate to your original payment method and your trade-in value as an Amazon.com Gift Card will be added to your Amazon account for immediate use."

where is the 9% credit? I chose a pickup location and I don't see it mentioned anywhere.

I was shown the $300 rebate but I'm not gonna sell my S23 for hundred-something. I wish there was an "other phone" option for $10 plus $300 rebate.

The cash back will be less than 117, because the 300 rebate won't be counted towards that, correct?

Same, I'm getting 6% for choosing slower shipping (Sunday) though, so the 3% extra isn't a deal breaker.

Unnecessarily complicated but no doubt awesome price. I regret I have to wait until tomorrow since even being an old man myself, I still use my dad's Amazon Prime account/card (only do a few Amazon orders a year) and have to make sure the rebate/gift card fiasco is okay with him to wait on and help me work through. For those that don't want to jump through so many hoops, Samsung's own website will likely sell this for ~$900 (no trade in needed or even possible) in the next month or two like they have for several years. For those of us with a phone to trade in, this beats the launch offers by a mile though and can't see Samsung offering anything close until Black Friday.

Not seeing the 9% for free pickup and tax is charged on the pre-discounted price of $1299, which is 9% for me.

This should qualify for the 300 rebate.
