This price is only valid in some location. Some zip codes get $20, but most have it at $30. If you're a current customer that is paying more, they refuse to give you the lower price.

I'm paying $20 a month for a Verizon FiOS 300 / 300 so I'm just going to stick with that. Speed doesn't matter reliability does. I tried T-Mobile home internet I couldn't even log into my bank account because of how the service works. My bank thought it was a spam or scam account. Not to mention there is zero port forwarding you can't use DMZ so online gaming is going to suck if you do gaming and you're going to have nat issues and there's nothing they can do about that no matter what router or equipment they use.

Yeah, I saw this deal on the home page. Tried to see if I could lower my home internet bill... unfortunately it went away when I logged in. Looks like it for new customers??? Thought I'd post it if someone could use it...
Download/ Upload speeds depend on how close the 5G gateway is to the tower you are, direction, availability of 'n band', how congested / oversubscribed tower is etc
I've had excellent results with tmo 5G at home - download speeds that is. Attached is a screenshot of all the speed tests I've done in last 4+ yrs at home.

I'm offered $35 a month for existing postpaid customers. That's what I had my cable internet down to a couple of years ago, but it's really crept up because I haven't negotiated it down in a while.

How reliable is the T-Mobile internet service compared to cable? How's the service through walls and floors (into basements or to garages, too)? With a wireless printer? I just want an internet that's reliable 24/7, but don't we all. 😆

5G home internet is always extremely location specific. I've ha great luck with it and use it to work from home with basically no issues. But I know people just a few blocks over that haven't has as much luck. It's worth trying and seeing if it works for you.

I get a good 5G signal at home for my T-Mobile cell service. So, if that's any sign, I'd be good.

I used to drop calls all the time. But, once I switched from the 4G mobile network to the 5G network, that all but stopped.

I've had it 2 years and it's been flawless. Didn't even go down during a direct hurricane hit.

Switch to Mint / Minternet (home internet) for 3 or 12 months. $30/month if you also have a line. Still uses T-Mobile and their phone plans are cheaper. If you decide it's worth switching back to T-Mobile, I assume you can get this deal as a new customer.

Also, for anyone new to T-Mobile and considering this deal, do some searches using Capital One Shopping (portal) for T-Mobile Home Internet before signing up. There have been some crazy deals, like $300 back.

I got this using the T-Life app. I'm am unable to use my work's VPN. T-Mobile said it requires VPN to use IPv6 (at least with the 4GAR modem that does not have a bridge mode nor can disable the WiFi). At my location DL up to 680 but typically around 350. UL around 18-36 so far.

Its not tied to a physical location. T&Cs say no, you cannot use it as a mobile internet service. Also not all locations support Home service, so it may not work depending on where you move it.

Just an fyi, Tmobile Home Internet is QCI 9 which means it has the lowest priority. Even worse than Prepaid, hotspot/tethering.

I've had it for about 3 years at $50 and change a month. It varies wildly depending on the day/time. Sometimes I get 500mps, others it can go down to 10mps. I have been getting the runaround from Customer Service (when I am actually able to talk to a real person) about upgrading to their newest modem/router which I have read is faster and more reliable than the old one I have. It seems like many are getting onboard with 5G Home Internet tied to the big 3. I saw that now Tracfone is offering it in some areas.
