Stop using poison around your living space brah. Yall be doing unnecessary stuff and making things complicated than they need to be. Just kill the weed with your bare hands if you really hate it that much. Plant native and stop using poison where you live.

I bought 45% acetic acid (vinegar) and I dilute it by half. I keep a squirt bottle of it and use it as needed. No dangers there. It kills weeds and grass around the sprinkler heads so fast.

One tip I've found over the years is to add a surfactant to liquid weed killer before applying to the yard. Adding a drop or two of dish soap and shaking in the container does wonders to help the product stick to some of the weeds that are shiny and/or may let the product run off of it too quickly to be absorbed.
