This is interesting to me. I have a mac/PC hybrid setup and I want to upgrade to a 4k display for the mac's scaling, it doesn't work as well with my 2k display. But I also use this for gaming and I want high refresh rates, I'm currently used to 240hz for rocket league, this might be the sweet spot for me.

Anyone have any thoughts on this monitor or deal?

I am a little oled curious but I'm not sure its ideal for my use with the mac..

Same exact situation. All my reading online leads me to go 4K IPS panels. OLED is great for some of my gaming needs, but the burn-in risk for such expensive monitors is a deal breaker for me. I'm looking at the Samsung S8 or the LG ultrafine, which is a tad bit more than this monitor. This monitor looks great too, especially if I decide to stay in a two monitor setup

I've had the Alienware Ultrawide OLED for 2.5 years now. 1st or 2nd gen, not the current. I do quite a bit of gaming since I've had it. Zero burn-in issues. A lot of the newer monitors will have automated OLED panel maintenance, which should alleviate the risks. Should you leave the same static screen and window on for several hours each day? No, but risks aren't really a concern. You do have to get use to the subtext pixel thing as OLED is different than IPS but get used to it. Watching movies/gaming = amazing
The specs on this monitor seem decent though if I was in the market for one.

If oled is in your budget then you should consider a high end mini-led monitor. It is nearly as good as oled but without the negatives. (Better font clarity, no burn in)

Have you seen any good deals on a 4k high refresh rate mini-led monitor? 27" or 32"
