At checkout, you have the options of selecting InKind Balance, InKind Offers, and InKind Cashback. You can't mix and match anymore.

Looks like the golden age of InKind is over.

We recently made some changes to our U.S. terms of use and privacy policy, which will go into effect for all inKind users.

Terms of Use
These changes:
Update how and when components of inKind Balances can be used. This will simplify the checkout flow to allow you to use either a) inKind Cash, b) inKind Cash Back or c) an offer you may have. Making this change will reduce friction at checkout and also give inKind the opportunity to support more restaurants.

I noticed that too, but when you click pay, those restaurants are still there. I just think they don't promote after they reach some limit of their loan being paid off

Don't know how they're going to get to 10,000 restaurants next year if they've eliminated one of the only reasons to use the app

I don't think you were able to use cashback balance and offers before, but you absolutely use InKind balance with InKind offers before.

Sorry, you are correct. I just looked into the wallet again (typo in last post for wallet), and I was not able to use inKind cashback with offers. I got confused between inKind cash and cashback

Yes it's already implemented, 30 day notice would have been nice. You can test it at the restaurants that let you type the total eg wunderlust ice cream, they don't ask for check number. Goto savings now you have to pick one.
The only other way to get a good deal is probably like free birthday appetizers directly with the restaurant eg Pacific catch then use any remaining balance, very disappointed. Lucky I only have 1 gift card left.
