I bought this on a slick deal a while ago and it sat in a keychain in my backpack and I barely ever used it. Then the power went out at my hotel and phone was on low battery as I had been using it all day. Was happy to have this thing.

Pretty nice concept and the magnet is strong. Puts out a great amount of light for its size.

Do you need this: I'd bet almost nobody does since your phone has a flashlight. But in a pinch it's a great little light.

It's been this price for over a year we should probably stop posting this as a deal unless olight/seller reduces the price for a deal...

I bought one of these in 2024 for $20. It lives on my keyring and I use it quite often. Yeah, phones have flashlights. But this is super handy to just pull off of my keys on my belt loop really quick instead of pulling my phone out. Battery life is good.

It came in very handy last week at work when I forgot my main at home. Attaching it to the back of my camera for a steady light source when peeking above ceiling tiles and other tight spaces has been quite helpful.

I have this on my Keychain from a previous deal. I use it every other day it seems. I know the battery is low when the light dims a bit and is not as bright. This light is amazing.

I got this a while back at the same price and it is a convenient design, (mostly because I wear metal frame glasses it can easily attach to for hands free light without having headlamps handy) but I'm probably going to wait until the price actually goes down to buy any more for gifts and whatnot. I imagine most people still use usb-a port more but they do have a USB-C model now, although that does cost more and since I barely pulled the trigger on this one I'm definitely going to wait on that newer model. My guess is since there is a million different colors some of them will be available at a discount at some point.

edit: Searching the forum it shows it was $12 in November.

I believe this was around $10 when it was first listed here last year. It's an incredible little device — very lightweight, yet it provides more than adequate light for quick needs.

It attaches securely to a keychain, and the magnetic hold is surprisingly strong, locking firmly into its base. I don't see this getting lost from your keychain easily.

I don't use it often, but even after several months of sitting unused, the battery still holds up well, which is impressive.

One of the best lights for working inside a computer case and getting that last corner mobo screw or power/reset switch plug in, it's super handy to be able to stick this inside the case and have it direct light at those dark corners. Loved the tip from a previous thread of buying two (when they're on a better sale), so you can keep one on your keyring and one charged at home, and easily swap the bodies while leaving the USB part in place.

I actually saw a guy wearing one around his neck walking around town today.

I question whether anyone positively reviewing this actually uses these regularly.. because though it's fantastic to use.. I went through 2 on warranty that both failed to charge after 10-20 cycles due to the metal contracts on the tang rubbing off even with extreme care and always putting the cover back on when going back on a keychain after charging

After the second failed I contacted warranty directly and asked them to upgrade my replacement to the usb-c model that didn't have the poorly made contracts even on the usb-a v2 model. Happy camper with the usb-c which of course didn't require those "printed on" contracts the A uses

This is the EDC flashlight you forget that you are carrying, until you need one. Often times way better than using a phone. Love that it's virtually weightless and you can't feel it in the pocket.
