Looks like it could be a good "cancel Disney+" kit for some people!

I downloaded Peppa Pig and was able to cancel Paramount+ without an uprising.

I believe you. The trigger warnings and pulled episodes of the muppets says it all

Actually most of the episodes were censored before they even got to Disney+... After Season 3b came out everything that was previously edited was restored.

One episode was pulled dealing with pretend child birth. Others had crude humor edited.

When it comes to cartoons like this, I doubt you'll see or hear much of a difference. The only reason to buy (in my opinion) would be for having a backup, in case your DVD's get scratched.

I don't think the sound will be different but I think it will look much better.

With a low budget live action show or a very low effort 3d cartoon with playstation level graphics there might not be much difference between dvd and blu-ray, but with 2d animation, as long as it was originally drawn at an hd resolution, even if it has a relatively simple style like bluey, I think pretty much any cartoon will look much better on blu-ray because of how much cleaner it will look and how much more sharper the lines will be.

Even aside from the actual resolution, DVDs are also just really harsh on animation, and especially if the dvds use interlaced video, which they usually tend to, animation on dvd really ends up looking like crap on modern tvs.
