At this price point, I would rather get myself a Leatherman Wave which is much nicer and made in the USA. Probably better warranty too.

"much nicer" is debatable, but one thing many Leathermans have is multiple tools that can be accessed single-handedly.

Most if not all Victorinox multitools require using your two hands & your nails to open a blade... which really limits their utility.

I owned one. Lost it over 20 years ago. I've owned a billion others. I've always wanted to get another. Thanks OP

I've had my Victorinox multitool since the late 90's. It is scratched up, and I've had to sharpen the knives over the years, but still works great. I actually went in to Chesapeake Knife and Tool with the full intent to buy a Leatherman, but the guy behind the counter showed me the Victorinox and there was no comparison. The Leathermans at the time needed to be unfolded into the pliers to access the knives and other tools, but not the Victorinox. And when the Victorinox is unfolded into pliers-mode, the tools are on the inside of the handles with the rolled steel on the outside so your hands are more comfortable. Just a far better design. I've been very happy with this purchase over the years.

The zenith of multi tool quality. Said it before, I used to manage a knife shop. Would return Gerber tools for warranty weekly, Leatherman, once a month, Victorinox never once in four years.

I have the Victorinox and different Leatherman multitools. The fit and finish of the victorinox is better and it's more comfortable. The Leatherman tools are full of hot points. The victorinox is polished and much easier on the hands. Maybe I am just to old, but I appreciate the comfort.

This is considered one of the nicest and best built multitools you can buy, and all the tools except the pliers are accessible from the outside. I have the Wave, but if they were comparable prices I'd take the Spirit X

There is a version of the victorinox with single hand deployment blades. SwissTool Spirit MX.
