580 count sandwich bags for $10 at BJ's. Costco probably has some too.

I prefer sandwich bags over the smaller snack bags, especially when they're cheaper per count.

Yes bigger is better for most. For kids and using them as actual snack bags - smaller size is better. Less complaining you didnt fill the bag enough and then coming home with half uneaten.
