Recently picked this up to help out with some work I wanted to get done on my car. Love this thing however it's pretty heavy on its own and even heavier with the 4ah battery. It hasn't come across a bolt that can't remove. If you don't need so much power I'd definitely recommend one of the smaller impact wrenches.

Dang, I got this same kit for $249 recently and that was a good deal. For two batteries and the impact and the lifetime service agreement, this is fantastic. I wonder if HD would refund me the difference?
This is the HIGH torque impact model, comparable in design and almost as powerful as the Milwaukee high impact (there's a good Youtube teardown video). It is a VERY large, heavy gun.
If you just do regular automative work, this is fine, but maybe overkill and won't fit in tight spaces. The mid-range impact torque (the one below this one) has worked for me for rust-seized brakes and suspension bolts. The mid-range wouldn't pull off a Honda crankshaft bolt, so I got this high-torque wrench and that took it right off. If you tighten bolts with this, I imagine it might break them off. Just an FYI.

Edit: they won't price match since it's greater than 30 days since my purchase, but they recommended repurchasing and returning the old one. Wild

Got it for 199 a few weeks ago. It's a beast on suspension bolts. It's what you need when hitting it with your purse don't work, but hitting it with the torch is overkill.

Really powerful impact wrench. Only thing I didn't like was the placement of the forward/reverse switch button. I kept hitting it on accident sometimes when squeezing the trigger. Great deal nonetheless though.

Wow! The Rigid Daily Deal prices keep dropping! I bought this on sale for $199 about 3 weeks ago. Chatted with HD this morning and they quickly returned the $20+tax to my CC. I did the same with the Rigid 1/2" Rachet. Bought it on sale for $148 and a week or so later it went to $133. After a quick chat, $15+tax back to the CC. Fantastic service in both cases...

The sale price on this guy is usually $190~$200. On the rare occasion, it's hit $180. Good deal since $180 comes around maybe 2~3x a year and for very short durations like this.

The only thing this wouldn't remove for me was a harmonic balancer bolt. I had to go with a high torque for that. Other than that, it's been great.
