Phone's build and features are great for the price point (plus that gift card). No bloatware or tracking software stock from manufacturer with up to 6 years of updates and support.

Only Samsung, Apple and Google have good TIV. Every other brand along with OnePlus is horrible for TIV. But if you care about trade value buy a popular brand.

They've made a couple of good value phones over the years, but they never bring those ones to the US (including this year, with the non-"pro" version of the 4a https://intl.nothing.tech/product...12%2B256GB)
The ones they release here are usually not as good as other options, especially since those other options tend to get hefty store trade-in and carrier discounts

Yes, but they need to confirm AT&T and Verizon. Those two block devices without certification. That said I expect this will get certified for all three and Boost.

The previous phones had more "glyphs" on the back. They are customizable lights that give you an idea of what is happening or who is calling without needing to pick up the phone to look at the screen. The OS is a strong selling point especially to fans of the pixel phones as it's clean without all the extra clutter. They are usually well-built phones that don't try to punch above their weight class. I guess you could consider a nothing phone as the Corolla of sedans. There's nothing real flashy and they aren't going to be mistaken for a sports car, but they do what they need to and they do it very good.
