FYI it's pretty small

Height : 2.15 in(54.5 mm)
Body Diameter: 2.36 in(60 mm)
product photos don't give a lot of scale

The coupon code also works on the Sphere with magnetic base.

LOL yeah, you can tell it by looking at the USB-C port on the first picture, it takes about 1/3 of the standing pad in frontal view.

Anyone that has this... would it make a good light for a tent? Bright enough?

No, it's not bright enough to be active in your tent. I would say it's bright enough for you to have it on in the bathroom or on the steps so you don't accidentally trip in the dark.

I have the magnetic base one and yea it would be plenty to see most things on a smaller tent stuck to the ceiling. Its pretty small though so don't expect miracles. I'd get one of those lights with the string lights that pull out the side for a tent though. Its cheaper most of the time when on sale, it gets posted regularly on SD.

I have one of the original versions of this light that was a freebie on an order. It's pretty worthless.

Yes it is pretty bright and many use for camping in a tent. I have three. With the app you can sync them and control with your phone via Bluetooth. The new ones are much better than gen1 from a few years back

Can you set light colors on a schedule? I'm thinking to get it for my toddlers to indicate when it's sleep time and wake up time

these are fantastic for visiting guests, to help navigate dark hallways to the bathroom or kitchen at night. also as a nightstand light or nightlight. I have 3 of these. A couple nits. The magnet for the sphere and firearm lights are inverted . I was hoping to use them as spares. And the sphere UI (taps/holds) is clumsy, so that it starts flashing erratically at midnight by accident. but still a very innovative light.

I got a bulb recently and noticed the magnetic charging is gone. Area they all like that? That was my favorite feature!

I think it would be plenty bright so long as it wasn't a huge tent. Probably not ideal to read a book with unless the light was close to the reader.

I use mine for travel and when I want a small area light and I don't want to turn on the lamp (bathroom at night) - small enough to hold and not wake up the wife, but bright enough where I don't stub my toe. For travel, it's nice to have a light on the nightstand that I know how to work - some lights in hotels have switches in weird places and when I'm half asleep, I don't always remember. I also keep one in my car - if I need a flashing red light, these work well enough.

Given their shape, it's a nice ambient light that is subtle and warm for picnic tables or nights on the patio.

All in all, I like them far more than I thought I would.

The magnetic charge ones cost a bit more. I found them on the same page as the usb c charged ones. They were sold at least as recently as this past holiday because I gave them as gifts.

Yeah but... why this over a nightlight?
