I posted my comments on MLB. I ordered this a few years ago - anytime I wanted to watch MY team live it was blacked out. I don't care about other teams at all. For me it's a waste.

You can thank the organized crime ring of the national sporting leagues and how they block broadcast of local games. It's so ridiculous that we can't watch (from San Diego) a NHL game with the Los Angeles Kings because LA is considered "local" to San Diego.

You can use a VPN on your device and put yourself in a different city, then you should be able to watch your team live.

Same here. I use a VPN to get around the blackouts. MLB cracked down on VPNs this year, but if you link your MLB.tv subscription with ESPN, you can watch all the games on ESPN.com or ESPN apps without any VPN restrictions.

It must work different than hockey then because for us and the NHL games on ESPN+, LA and Anaheim, CA teams are blacked out for us.

Even with a VPN? Using a VPN is the key. The phone app requires GPS access, but the Fire TV app doesn't. I mainly watch on my PC and Fire Stick.

Just sucks the hoops (HA get it Hoops) you have to go through - yes, all greed. And yes, I don't pay for TV either - so I'm S-out-of-luck. I also stated the MLB App (free) sucks. I enjoy the CBS Sports App much better - basically because it shows all sport leagues and it highlights my Favorites. Overall much better interface.
