If I have older eufy cameras and doorbells currently running on homemade 2...Is it worth upgrading to this newer homebase?
Yes and no. A lot of the older cameras are not supported so make sure that you check if yours are. The base is the brain of the operation so this brain is smarter than the current one you have. It does a better job at differentiating between pets people and vehicles and offers a much better face recognition experience.
Eufy releases untested, broken updated apps that will make your cameras and Homebase 3 dysfunctional. Stay away unless you're looking for headaches.
yeah its buggy as f.. im in the process of dropping all these eufy stuff.. their firmware bricked 4 flood light cam and said oh we killed it but you're out of warranty so ha ha, no support. floodlight in a endless reboot loop. can't even function as flood light.
