Nope.. if you're looking for 502, and its not on the bottle, it's not what you need.

API SQ is the newest standard, and it's frustrating to see an oil that was at the top intentionally skip it.
Only cover I can see is maybe adding more zinc or additives that SQ prohibits. But SQ has integrated friction reduction and timing chain protections.
Modern cars with timing chains should use API SQ. Today.

SQ replaces most of the zinc with new buffers. So no, it doesn't. It actually has very low zinc by design.
