Don't get that one. Get this one instead. Version 2 has almost identical form factor, much better battery life:

And, it looks like, 200 lumen vs 180 lumen.

Rechargeable is definitely the way to go. I use eneloop and ebl rechargable NiMH in mine. I did some run-time tests on 'high' and got signicantly longer run-times with these batteries in the i3t and i5t vs Alkaline. I have only a few Lithium AA's and use those in devices that are more voltage sensitive.

I have the olight i5R which seems to be the big brother to this. Comes with a Li-ion but you can also use an AA in a pinch (with reduced performance).

It's my favorite pocket flashlight for work.

I can put a rechargeable battery in this to bump it to 300 lumens. Thanks!

I own both versions. Version 2 is considerably brighter using a rechargeable 10440 lithium battery. Version 1 I have the same battery in and it's night and day brighter than version 2 with the same battery. Version 1 is not designed for a 3.7v 10440 battery, so you risk burning out the LED, but it does work and will get quite warm after about 30 seconds on high. Brighter than the i5R.
