I have the 39 bit version of this item, which only has the smaller screwdriver.
It is a very nice set. The price of just that was about the same as this one with the smaller and larger driver.
Kind of wish I waited, but that was a year ago.
I think this kit is worth the money, as just the smaller one is quite nice.

Anyone know if this kit covers all the obscure proprietary screws across different Apple generations, or are there still edge cases it won't handle?

a lot of the new products like the neo/some of the airs are using Torx Plus(IP) screws...a standard Torx driver will often fit the Torx Plus but they will likely have some play/looseness ...Also keep in mind that a lot of the apple products have specific torque settings for some of the screws(Yes micro torque drivers are a thing)...

My go-to is the 27-in-1 precision with handle storage for small to mid jobs, but I have the 39-bit kit as well. For small disassembly (hard drives, small electronics) the kit is great; I take apart some weird shit & haven't run across anything that wasn't in the 39-bit kit. If I didn't already have it (as well as 2 of the 27-in-1 drivers lol), I'd consider this for the slightly larger driver.

There's also the 32327/32328 drivers which are like the larger driver in this bundle (i.e., they feature handle storage).

The 32327 has standard tamperproof (security) hex/torx bits, but the 32328 has the P2/P5, T5/T6, Y0/Y000 (but not Y00) and a "standoff bit" for removing chassis standoff screws. Anyone looking for an Apple-friendly driver would find most bits in the 32328 (it's ~$22 on Amazon); I believe the Y1 bit is the only "Apple" bit missing from the 32328 (the 39-bit includes the Y1). I don't know about Y00 or other weird Apple stuff.

So there's a US-made equivalent in the same price range, that is measurably better? Sorry, but just because it's "made in China" doesn't mean it's poor quality. Hopefully you are making this comment with that in mind, and not just making assumptions.
