Offer is redeemable the day after at least one 420+ ft MLB home run is hit (valid for 24-hour period). Offer starts this MLB Season, after March 25. This offer can be redeemed either through scanning the barcode if it is at a retailer in the OTC network OR through receipt submission. See BajaBlastHomeRuns.com for complete details and directions on how to redeem this offer.

Thanks for sharing this. Allowing it to be added to my Google Wallet means I'll always have it with me. I hope it works! I could go for some Zero Sugar Baja Blast in my future.

What is this "OTC Network" and how do you find a list of stores? I can't figure it out. I have the barcode to use but I don't want to drive around trying to use it. Mtn Dew could have made this easier to find.

After posting this I finally figured it out. In my Google wallet there was a message with a link to participating stores. It has a drop down. Unfortunately no Casey's, Kwik Star or Hy-Vee for those in the upper Midwest.

Worked like a charm for me today at Walmart. Yes, you still have to pay the deposit. PROTIP: scan the drink first, PRESS PAY NOW, and then scan the barcode from your phone. That's how it worked easily for me today, at Walmart. Then the pay screen for the $.10 deposit came up, and I had to take care of that out of pocket. No biggie, though!
For the sake of easiness, though, if you're getting an entire shopping load, finish that first, pay for it, and then do the drink in a completely new, different transaction. That way if things go wrong, the rest of your purchase isn't being held hostage...you can always leave the pop and go somewhere else for it.

Only work today or would tomorrow be ok? Not sure if a home run was hit

I am not entirely sure/certain on that point. On the one hand, the "coupon" in my wallet says that it expires 09-27-26, which is September of this year. On the other hand, I also don't know if it will be deactivated in 24 hours, either. What I *do* know is that you're better off trying to get it sooner rather than later, because the total number of redemptions for the entire promotion is 100,000 redemptions, with up to five (5) per given person, and I assume that those are once per day/event. So if you have people like me who are going to redeem it five times within a week or two, assuming that 420 foot home runs are being hit every day or two, those redemptions will quickly run out.

Just my opinion, though.

I had a message in Wallet that a 420' HR was hit and I could get the free 20oz. I redeemed @ Walmart by scanning the code, then got a new message in Wallet that I had unlocked another free 20oz. I had already left WM, so didn't try again. Is this 5/day and 5 total for the promo, or 5/day and 5 days, or what? Also, we don't pay deposit on bottles and the tax was deducted when scanning the code. If you upload the receipt, the tax is not reimbursed.

There have been two 420+ HR hit so far today, so tomorrow is a free drink day. I'm tracking them here, select Date or Distance from the drop-down:

So, to follow up, this "coupon" pass in the Google Wallet *DOES* turn "on" and "off". I went back to Walmart tonight to try to redeem it again, and the pass itself wasn't active (i.e. the bar code for redemption was no longer there, and yes, I tried opening it multiple times). So, if it's active for you, it should be active for *at least one* redemption on any particular day, and it's quite possible that it will be active for more than one redemption in a day if more than one 420 foot HR is hit in one particular day. Having said that, there's no guarantee that it will work more than once per day, and they *definitely* toggle it on/off depending on the results of the day.

I figured out that the barcodes are different each time. I redeemed @ WM today, then got a notification that I unlocked another free 20oz. There was a new barcode in Wallet. I had screenshotted the first two codes, the screenshot does not work a second time.
Eugenio Suárez goes yard @ 431', freebies on Monday.
