I bet they get pretty dinged up if these ship in one package.

They get pretty dinged up if they ship individually as well. Every time I've ordered kettlebells the packaging is shredded.

Cheaper than a gym membership. Maybe you should charge him a monthly fee and make it impossible to cancel 😂

Building a home gym. I've always used dumbbells & plate weights, are these actually useful for general fitness training?

Absolutely. If you have space for them I highly recommend.

My favorite squat warm up is a one-sided offset kb squat. You hold one kb in a rack position on one side and do slow tempo squats. Warms up your core and hips wonderfully.

I'm also a huge fan of heavy-ish kb rack squats, bottoms up waiter carries, kb swings, kb snatches, etc.

I don't think they are quite as versatile as 1" plate loaded dbs which are dirt cheap on Marketplace and can be used or everything from light shoulder rehab work to heavy romanian deadlifts or goblet squats, but they're definitely not a waste of money.

Unless you toss a 5 or 10lb one at someone's head, the very short reach would not do you much good. Now a macebell on the other hand...

Thanks - I've been scooping up those rubber hex dumbbells as they've gone on sale. I have almost every 5lb-divisible weight from 10 to 60. Given that, think these would still be useful? I see kettles in gyms sometimes and think, "why not just use a dumbbell?"
