Worse, but perhaps not 'much worse' - 0.5" stroke on this one @ 3000 strokes per minute, vs 0.625" @ 3000 on the Fuel
Just for comparison, the M18 Fuel (2719-20) is 0.875" @ 3000

That's the only difference? The fuel thing has to be the most clever marketing gimmick Milwaukee has concocted. Basically a minimal nerf.

Well, there's a bigger gap between their "Fuel" lineup and most of their other non-Fuel tools that use brushed motors.
Non-fuel models with brushed motors like this are few and far between

I have the M12 Fuel HACKZALL and it works great. I would definitely try the non-Fuel version at this price

I have one of these and it is great! No idea what people are talking about these not beyond any good.

I use mine all the time. I just cut up some schedule 80 galvanized pipe with one. If you have a good blade, makes for quick work.

Plus with a fine metal blade, great for cutting drywall as well.

you cant push this like a brushless tool, parts of the motor will melt and stop working. happened to me with this exact tool.
ended up getting a dewalt 20V tool that is similar dimensions to this and it was able to stand up to a bunch of abuse pruning a few trees.
