Just beware when buying from Best Buy I don't know if this is new they have second party people selling under the Best Buy name not a fan of that

The real deals here are the PlayStation Fortnite bundles which are $100 less than other pricing and $200 less than they'll be on the 2nd. Wanted to make the thread so anyone on the fence about purchasing had time to before the price increases next week.

No clue on the restricted part, but you can't use PSN gift cards on PlayStation Direct to buy consoles.

Was able to sell my 2tb steam deck OLED for $800 two weeks ago for the same reason - definitely not getting rid of my ps5 though.

i've been waiting for it to go about $350 since i play about once a month. No way am i gonna pay $500 for something i barely touch.
I wouldnt mind a used one, but damn i see some of these videos online of people with consoles that are just filthy. People are gross which is why i'd rather buy new.

You can replace the cover, there are sales, i.e. PSN Direct had them on sale a few weeks ago. And you'll need a new controller anyway.
