It doesn't mention any safety rating anywhere. Pretty important for something with a heating element I think.

I own a similar device. If you fill it beyond the line, boiling water is more likely to come out. Also, if you tilt the steamer more towards the clothes, it can also spill. It is suppose to be held straight.
