I'm a home inspector and use this light everyday. I love the flood and spotlight. I also use the UV too for termite. Laser comes in handy when pointing things out to clients.

It has a lifetime warranty, send it back and they replace it free of charge.

It's sad to see how Slickdeals has been ruined over the years. Only eight likes and it's rated "popular!"

I have about ten ie3 eos Olights, had on/off switch issues with six of them, had them replaced using their 5 year warranty. Half of the replacements had the exact same problem. I stopped wasting my money on Olights.

In case you didn't know, Olight is one of them companys that give free products to influencers to hype them. And anyone can promote their products giving out their referral code that will earn them referrer credits for free or discounted products. So there is incentive to get you to buy their lights.

It's a lot to pay to add a $2 laser pointer into a flashlight in cool white (low CRI) with a built in battery. I imagine it is trash once the battery goes, but maybe they will replace it assuming they stay in business?
Olight has been around a good while now, and make aaalot of great products, they also have a good size community. You see them sell alot in gun shows and in tool trucks. The quality is also really good. I have an older flashlight that my brother used for work as a mechanic with replaceable battery and it works like new after 4+ years.

I've abused my previous gen OLIGHT. I charged it TWICE last year. Not a heavy user, but carry it daily and it gets at least weekly use.

I have used the Arkfeld pro (400 less lumens) daily since they came out. I am an insulation estimator, I go in attics and crawl spaces all day. This thing was built for people like me. I have two and rotate one on the charger in my center console. The magnetic charger is an awesome design. Enough juice for the whole day. This flashlight has been perfect for my line of work. The UV to find rodent urine trails, the phosphorus in it lights up. The lazer for pointing things out to clients, and the flashlight is bright enough for anything. The 1700 lumen version is overkill for what is needed in reality, but wouldn't hurt. Little known feature is while the laser is on, you can double click and get the flashlight on at the same time. Worth every penny to me and will buy another one if I lose one of mine. Probably will save the $35 and get the same version again, I think it's a better value.

Agree. The extra 400 lumens doesn't add much in the real world.

Crazy expensive, I like olight and have several of thier lights but no way I'm spending $100+ on a flashlight when the keyring ones I have from them are good enough for 99% of daily light needs. If i need search and rescue lights I'll get out the ryobi spotlight lol
It's just not what you need. I use it all day, everyday and all the features and haven't found anything that performs close.

I have the last version I really like it. I have no use for it but it's very bright and I like the magnet to stick it to things.

I've been using Olights since before they were all the rage amongst the influencer/paid shills community. The magnetic charger was a huge decision factor when I moved to them many, many years ago.

I purchased the OG version of the Arkfeld on release in August of 2022. I still have it though the battery has lost capacity. I was looking to upgrade to the Arkpro Ultra but there are many things I've come to heavily dislike about Olights that I've started moving away from them, for example:

You loose the ability to use Turbo when the battery capacity hits 50% and below. The magnetic end, while it can be useful, it isn't useful in my work environment since it ends up with metal shavings often. The light, even though it has a "memory" function, always reverts to low output after short periods of not being used. I absolutely HATE the "hold the power button for several seconds to lockout the light" because it feels like an eternity while waiting disable the lockout. Yes, this isn't exclusive to Olight and applies to many light on the market.

The Ultra does have a flood and a spot option which is nice but I cannot see myself living with another Arkfeld for a few years well built as it may be.

I picked up the EDC17 and It's almost and I mean almost perfect. Small for everyday/work carry. Excellent output (1500 lumens), decent battery size, simple UI and Instant on with the flick of a clicky switch. Turbo works all the way down to 20ish percent of battery capacity. Has a glass breaker which, yes it works, and I find more useful than a magnet. You can pick one up on Aliexpress frequently for $60 or less, free shipping. Mine arrived in 9 days. Flat EDC lights are the way to go in my opinion and yes, the downside is that the battery isn't easliy replaceable if at all in most cases. It's a great time to be a flashlight addict for y'alls into that.

As a electrical foreman my arclight pro is my most used tool, for over a year still going strong. Was ment for only work, but now I carry it it all the time. Will by one in a heartbeat if I loose this one.

I have this flashlight. It's clearly not for everyone. But if you want it, get it direct from Olight and add the custom engraving for free. Ever since I got this flashlight it has become my EDC, I used to rotate my pocket flashlights until I got this one (I currently have about 10 pocket flashlights). I use it almost every day. I keep a Wurkkos HD01 in my EDC kit (and I own another 2 Wurkkos HD01, one laser one UV), but the ArkPro Ultra goes in my pocket along with my new Smith Blade Pro (I also own way too many pocket knives). I'm not an influencer or creator or shill, I just like flashlights.
