I don't know why, but these are so much weaker than the store bought. The lather barely lasts on these Amazon purchased ones, bought from the local supermarket and wow, so much better.

Maybe they stored improperly. With that being said, make your own and you can control the lather.

I like this stuff for my dishes. However, I made the mistake of spraying it on metal window blinds while cleaning, and it took the paint right off! Whoops!

People actually buy the refill? Just search up the recipe, i think it's just 2tbs each of dawn soap and alcohol mix with water and bam, 1000x cheaper and does the same job.

I'm an oil painter and I use isopropyl alcohol (via a spray bottle) to clean a glass palette after each painting session. It completely wipes away all wet paint, and will remove dried paint if you let it sit....

I wasn't aware that there was so much alcohol in these (I use it on dishes) but it certainly makes sense to me that the paint is gone.. Sorry you had to learn the hard way, but if you do need to remove paint, it may be an option for you (but I would just go for the 70% bottles directly).

I make it almost every two weeks, google the recipe as im going off memory (which aiint great these days) but I've never bought a refill and been using it for over a year.
