But they are not hiking boots, or even walking shoes. I wear them when I need to run outside in the snow for a minute. I'll wear real shoes if I'm going to walk any meaningful amount.
They are excellent for brief outdoor chores (like taking out the trash) in the winter. They're perfect to wear for the drive to and from the ski slopes—they feel incredible after a long day in tight ski boots, and they keep you warm and dry in the parking lot.
