That's actually fair, this movie is shockingly free of the pandering activism that has ruined Marvel. However this is still one of the most boring, badly written, badly acted (except for the actress who plays Miss Marvel, she's fantastic), badly directed, and pointless collection of random scenes pretending to be a movie ever released. There's a reason this was the biggest box office bomb of 2023 and lost around a quarter of a billion dollars (even more if you factor in the losses from the reshoots which studios never do).

I refuse to rag on this movie simply because Iman Vellani is great as Ms. Marvel, and she deserves another appearance.

Ms. Marvel holds the seams together with this film. Movie is good, not great, but with Ms. Marvel, it'd suffer notably.
People just want to hate on Marvel now because it got too popular and successful.
