It's insane they've got us paying 100 bucks for a charger that allows them to sell more batteries to us. Unless my needs absolutely demanded it I'd rather spend $19 on the regular speed charger from the woot sale any day of the week. Keep your eyes open for the right bundle and you can basically get this for free with a tool and batteries.

Agreeing with above poster, this is more in most cases than a decent-size extra battery, so it only maths out for those draining batteries faster than that spare battery would charge with the regular charger, which does not include me
And yeah the historical prices are a few years old but "It was literally half this" is pretty rough

These used to be 80 bucks all day long. I got two of them off Ebay for 40 bucks each about three years ago, have three total... What's the deal? OH, if you buy on Ebay, be careful though. ONLY buy from a high volume person with a 99% plust reputation and preferably well into the four digits number of reviewers. But by doing that, I've really scored a few times. My 885 impact drivers have all cost around 40 bucks new. Now, like I said, I'm about three years out on any purchases there.
