This is equivalent to two 27-inch 16:9 (standard wide screen monitors) side by side without bezels in between.

Here is some visual help: https://www.displaywars.com/49-in...-inch-16x9

Don't buy samsung. I got 5 of their 49 curved three years ago for my office and three went bad within 15 months. Cost more to repair then replace.

Not sure how I feel about this. Price is great, 120hz though not so much. Tempting but this would be great at 144hz..
Maybe this is a better deal?

I have this and love it. I'm able to power the screen at full resolution and 120hz off the USB C and then plugged in my USB hub into the monitor itself. Image is nice, bezel is bigger than other monitors I've used but for the price (I also paid $400 about a month ago) I'm thrilled.

On windows, use power tools and set up fancy zones, it's super helpful.

I use it for work, not gaming. If I was doing a lot of gaming I would have considered one of the oleds from decogear or innoce I think. I believe all panels this size are the same (Samsung iirc) but the slightly less performant ones (eg 120 hz instead of 240hz, or maybe it's color reproduction isn't as consistent or whatever variation happens in the mfg process) get sold off, which how decogear et al. Also, I think I'm remembering this correctly but I'd confirm.

Tldr - I love it for office work. $400 is a great price.

I ended up biting on this. I know my last post on this thread states I wish it was 144hz, and that still rings true. After some more research, it looks like this display has both good and bad reviews. A lot of users state they get faulty panels (dead pixels on arrival, dies after a few months, etc) but for the price and 1-yr warranty happy to bite.

For $399 I guess you can't beat the price... wish it was 144hz but it is what it is

Funny how everyone talks about the Samsung monitors on this thread and no one is able to provide decogear review 😂

I received the monitor today. It looks great except my monitor only shows 75 Hz on your MacBook Pro 14" M1 connected via HDMI as an external display. Is that due to limitations. My Macbook Pro is running MacOS Tahoe 26.4.1
Edit: I was able to figure it out.

I was using an HDMI 2.0. and was only getting 75Hz at the highest resolution, then I switched to USB-C cable from the monitor directly to one of the Thunderbolt and got 120Hz, but I did not use the cable that came with the monitor because that cable only gave me 75Hz.

Just opened mine (delivered last week) and the panel has 5 dead pixels. Currently talking to customer service -- anyone that purchased I recommend to check yours as well.
