Just today returned this metal version and switched back to my dear Nomatic wallet.

Why I went back?

1) This metal wallet can hold up to 6 cards IIRC. The Nomatic is flexible and can accommodate more cards.

2) The cash strap on this one is a joke and the heavy metal plate it holds makes the wallet even more clunky to wear. The Nomatic has a pocket that is smaller and can also hold a spare key. OCD warning: The money pocket works best when bills are folded individually, sorted by their value ;-)

Most importantly: 3) The Nomatic doesn't have pointy edges that poke legs and pinch jeans.

* I'm not affiliated with Nomatic but I've used the same wallet for 5 years now.

Agree with above, plus if you wear gym shorts or sweats it can pull them down, kinda heavy. Maybe if they made a plastic version. I also use a fabric elastic wallet from best buy deal, but have tried 3 of these types.

I have found that hard wallets actually destroyed my cards pretty quickly. The metal and plastic parts seemed to wear down the edges of the cards and caused them to delaminate. It doesn't seem to matter if it's a metal or a plastic card, the edges get worn down and then the start falling apart.

Yeah, I was looking at it and thinking that slide trigger on the side looks really uncomfortable in your pocket.

Also, one thing I like about the Nomatic is that you can slide a tracker like an AirTag into one of the crevices... something that doesn't look like can be done with these metal wallets.
