No go. I've conveyed everything to USB with the exception of two mouses (or are they mice?), and one old IPhone 14 Plus.

Agreed. It's very impractical. Because the top is touch sensitive, I find myself often scrolling unintentionally. Top it off with the fact that it's not only a lightning port, but the port is on the bottom, making it completely unusable while charging. To make matters worse, my MacBook doesn't even notify me that the mouse's battery is low until it's at 5%. Just bad all around.

I've used this mouse for almost 10 years, I think added buttons and scroll wheels are unintuitive. Matter of preference and muscle memory I guess.

I like how I can swipe left on the top of the mouse to delete emails/iMessages.
I'm returning the black USB-C one I got bc my wife put a deep scratch on a lightening white one we already have. I'll take the lightening plug for $60 savings. My AirPods 3? still has lightning. Hopefully I'll get rid of it in the next round of clearance sales. lol

Note that this is the Lightning version of the MM. Not the newer USB-C one. (That's the only difference, so if you're OK with Lightning, which you should be since everyone's got drawers of these cables, this works fine.)

The touch features of the mouse are great. The ridiculously short height of the mouse is useless.

Agreed, I had to attach rubber bumpers to the sides of the mouse to make it less painful to use

I roll with a magic trackpad. Had this mouse at my last job and couldn't get used to it so I told them to get me a trackpad instead. I still have it. Lol

It is essentially a touchpad. It doesn't have a real right button. If you need to hold the right button, then click left, you won't be able to do it with this mouse.
TL;DR: You won't be able to play quite a lot of games with it. You've been warned.
