FYI, you can use the outer screen for more than you can with the galaxies (seems to scale apps vs just locking you to widgets), so if you want the flip as a small phone the razrs are better

Specs are pretty good for the price... I agree. BUT..."cracked screens" at the fold are a known characteristic of the technologyReal-World Durability & Known Issues1. Screen Protector Cracks: The most frequent complaint is not the screen itself breaking, but the factory-installed screen protector developing hairline cracks or peeling at the hinge.2. Crease Evolution: A visible and tactile crease exists at the fold from day one. Some users experience display failure due to microscopic manufacturing defects, usually within the first year.3. Hinge Longevity: The hinge is rated for approximately 125,000 folds (roughly 3 years of heavy use). Some users have reported "creaking" or slight noises during opening, often attributed to the screen protector's movement.4. Environmental Sensitivity: Debris like dust or pocket lint can enter the hinge mechanism and potentially cause internal damage over time. I don't think we are there yet... a foldable phone that works ALL the time and will last as long as a non foldable phone. What bothers me the most is that they make it to last only a short life, this is what I don't understand.
Some people upgrade their phones every year and are willing to make that trade-off for the fashion statement/pocketable form factor. There are other primary phones I'd get, even for under $400, if I wanted utility and longevity, but there's something appealing about a fashion accessory that lets me do anything I would do in my primary phone for when I feel like it. I wouldn't pay mid-tier flagship prices for it knowing those tradeoffs (and neither would many other people given that it's being liquidated), but for $380, it's worth the gamble, especially as someone who prefers Moto's UI to OneUI. (And I have an S25 Edge, which is another liquidation phone. Perfectly capable as a primary even with the average-but-not-bad battery life.)

Yes, I have a name for those people... who upgrade their phone yearly and consider their phone a fashion statement... I call them POOR PEOPLE. You know, I asked my neighbor if he paid off his BMW... he said no. I then asked him how many millions do you have in the bank... he said none. Point is... there is a way to stay poor all your life... that is spend all your money. If you spend more then you make... YOU ARE POOR.And I HATE OneUI... personally I prefer the pixel or oneplus (while they are still around).I just don't believe in buying something knowing it will probably break in a year or two?
As I suggested in my initial comment, I seldom make impulse purchases (i.e. I usually don't buy things I don't need or really want). I've been eyeing a flip phone for years but never bit on a deal. I'm on this app, aren't I? We're all kind of penny pinchers. Besides, if $380 is "spending more money than I make," I'm not really making money, am I? A budget-priced phone paid for in full is not an unpaid BMW.

They're selling the $700 phone for 380 because it wasn't worth $700 in the first place. All these folding phones are notable for the screens cracking and needing replacement. Why do they go out? Because they keep being folded in the same place.
It's not the fold - it's that Moto might only give this one more OS update and a few more security updates. Support has always been the problem with Moto, not the hardware.

it appears only the mocha mousse pantone is still available. A little bit of an ugly color IMO, but not bad. Here's better photos https://www.ebay.com/itm/15735483..._KEALw_wcB

I got the pink one two weeks ago also. It is an amazing device for this price.
Don't be fooled and buy the regular Moto Razr (non-plus). The plus gives you a lot more processor power.
Not really interested in discussing the longevity of the folding phones, everyone understands they are more fragile.
how long does yours last before charging?
