Get the 2k or better. It also has better night vision if I recall.
Reasoning is pretty simple; zooming in is super grainy, better to have more megapixels when doing that. Wheather it's an important reason or just curiosity, if you can't see what you're looking at zoomed in, it's annoying.

Does this camera have rtsp? Tried searching on Amazon didn't see it listed there.

I wonder if it is 'recalibrating'

Usually or normally after power outage or if i unplug it. By itself randomly not normal.

Does anyone have any experience on how these compare to Eufy for usability, features, etc?

If you have experience for these pan tilt models I'm curious whether the pan tilt eventually stops working. I know it would stop working after some number of years but I'm wondering if it stops working a lot more quickly than the rest of the electronics breakdown
I've had one made for indoor only use but I only use it outside for the past three years. It's been in several snow storms, thunderstorms, and tons of UV rays during that time and still pans and tilts fine. The video quality has gotten a little grainy but I'm surprised that it even made it through a year of use. I live in the Smoky Mountains in a rain forest. I'm gonna eventually replace it with one made for outdoor use once it dies.

These are good cameras, I have a couple that are at least 2 years old going strong. However, for the money I would upgrade to the 3k for $10 more. The 2k is only $5 more. It makes a big difference in clarity, especially when zooming images. The two 3k models I added are great.

Thanks for the tip! 3K pan/tilt is $35, only $10 more than the OP (albeit white rather than black) https://a.co/d/0a1ha2Dw
I see 3k at $39 for one or $70 for dual lens?

Yes, most of IP cameras have it:
rtsp://username:password@IPaddress:554/stream1
stream2 is similar

I have an 8 camera ring setup. 2 are 2k ones and better quality. I got one of these free with a mesh set I bought. It's pretty cool. Video quality is better than my basic ring ones. Tracking works great. Slapped a micro sd in and saves everything. No subscription required unless you want cloud backup. Has a light. And color night vision.

I wish these cameras were direct in the listing about the power connections. I got some Tapo 2k indoor and they use barrel plugs for power, which sucks.

edit: digging through review pics for this one, the 2k, and the 3k, they all look to be USB-C. Not sure why they don't just mention that.

Anyone know if this will generate an rtsp stream like the C100 does, so I can integrate it into a Frigate NVR?
