Meh, really ought to come with 6 x 10Ah or 6 x 12Ah batteries. They're cheaping out with the 6Ah batteries.

When we bought ours 5 years ago it came with 4 x 10ah batteries and 2 empty battery slots, so this current one actually has a bit more juice with it.

How do you like the mower? Very interested in how well these hold up and perform over that amount of time

My Ego blower, hedge trimmer and string trimmer have been going strong for over 10 years now. I would love to have this mower but my old ICE mower is still going strong.

Thats Regular price at Lowes if you have a military discount.

edit: I stand corrected. Lowes has the same discount as Amazon, PLUS the military discount drops it down further.

Order Summary

SubTotal $4,799.00
Military Discount -$479.90
Total Tax $302.34
You're saving $479.90

Total: $4,621.44

No offense, but I don't see 9% off as much of a slickdeal, especially since the included batteries have much less capacity than this typically sells with.

4x10 = 40
6x6 = 36

?

EDIT: the guy above beat me to it lol

I don't know what Ego is thinking with their Z-line up, besides the E-steer, they are basically unchanged since introduced 6-7 years ago and now they've reduced battery capacity and raised prices. They had trouble selling the first generation (the 42s were closed out to dump inventory) and now they've made them worse. For example, they could have invested in the platform and come out with an actually competitive 61" deck.
