Not sure what happened. Penn Tour are Okey but the regular Penn are hard, don't bounce, and have become a terrible ball to hit with.

Got these last time to use on outdoor hard surface. They seem good. But if you are a hard hitter, I recommend change them after a set. If you don't care or dont hit as hard, they will last through the match session. Since most of my matches are recreational, they serve me well and they are cheap!

I guess we have a lot of pros playing here... believe me these balls are find for 95% of players out there unless u r looking to play with balls for over 10 hours in which case you are not a serious player anyways. Balls would be the least of your problems. or if you are rich then this is also non factor.

That having been said, I use minimum the heavy duty Penn even on clay, the red ones are lower quality and last less even for teaching and the felt also goes a lot faster. This is tempting but the annoyance isnt worth it. Now if iw ere just teaching some 3.0's on a part time basis, then this would be perfect. great price for that or any player 3.5/4.0 and below.
