for those in Colorado, ACE automatically applies the additional 30% Colorado Electric Lawn Equipment Rebate which brings the price down to $454. My local Lowes store wasn't honoring the $100 discount, so they were taking 30% off the normal $749 price. Rebate also doesn't automatically apply in Lowes cart.

Cart shows $0 for extra battery. How were you able to return this and get $230 back? Was it on phone or in store?

I don't know if this is true for Ego, but generally...

- The extended warranty starts after the manufacturer's warranty ends.
- The extended warranty covers more things than the manufacturer's, and is sometimes easier to fulfill.
- Lowe's specifically covers accessories/consumables. If the item come with a battery, you can claim something like $100 or 50% of the batteries value.

both. also don't store with empty charge. if it's full charge, it'll discharge itself after a certain amount of time

ACE has the $100 discount and the free extra battery too. The CO 30% discount was applied online for both pickup and delivery and both are free options. Thanks for mentioning this! I moved to CO last year and did not know about the discount. Saved me over $200 over ordering from Amazon.

I've found EGO to be good service. My trimmer went to shit and they paid Home Depot repair department to try and fix it for me. When the fix didn't work, they sent me a new one. When the battery went to shit, they sent me a new one too.

I bought this last week after seeing the deal posted on Reddit. I used it for the first cut of the season when the grass was quite tall in spots and the mower performed very well. Everything was cut evenly with no clumps. It stalled out in one section where the grass was especially thick but to be fair my Honda HRX217 has done the same thing.
Note: There is also a deal for the 765 CFM blower where you get the included 5mah battery plus an additional free 2.5mah battery. I tried to return the 2.5 mah battery but was told I couldn't, even though the reciept showed a price of around $120 allocated for the battery.

Amazon splits out the battery to $167 and $482 for the mower. I wonder if can then return the second battery?
